So I have been doing really well in my physical therapy. The 3rd time there (last Friday) I was bending 110* and he said as soon as I get to 120* I can start riding the bike. I did my exercises at home and I really concentrated on bending my leg during the day.
Yesterday when I went to therapy I was doing the "Total Gym" and was bending to 126* and my patella tendon decided it did not like that idea. All hopes of riding the bike were ceased in an instant. The pain was getting worse and immediately the PT started an ultrasound on the tendon. I was not a happy camper. Besides the fact that it really hurt, I wanted so bad to start the bike. I need some exercise!!!! I can't even do the wall exercises I was supposed to do for a few days and lots of ice on the tendon. I am trying to tell myself that this is just a little set-back but I am not convincing myself very well.
Friday is my next appointment and hopefully it will be a better day!
